Bradley Shane Bivins, 43, of Vernon, died on Friday, April 25, 2014 in Vernon. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, April 28, 2014 at the Sullivan Funeral Home Chapel with Dave Winn and Curtis Rutledge officiating. Interment will follow at Eastview Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.
Bradley was born on April 14, 1971 in Vernon. He was the son of the late Thomas R. Bivins and Karen Peterson. He was a graduate of Vernon High School. He had worked for Jones Machine Shop as a welder and was a self employed carpenter. He attended Eastside Baptist Church.
He is survived by mother and father, Karen and Keith Lewis of Vernon; one son, Montana Bivins of Denver, Colo.; one daughter,Tiffany Schwarz of Alvarado; two brothers, Wesley Bivins of Wichita, Kan., and Tommy Curtis of Vernon; one sister, Lisa Heylin of Memphis, Tenn., and one grandson, Andrew Segura. He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas R. Bivins, and grandparents, Virgil Pete and Emily Peterson.
Family visitation will be held on from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Sunday April 27, 2014 at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Wilbarger County Humane Society or Hospice of Wichita Falls.
