Dorothy Fitzpatrick Huseman

   QUANAH – Dorothy Fitzpatrick Huseman, 92, formerly of Quanah, died on Thursday, Nov. 6, 2014 in Amarillo. Services will be held at2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, 2014 at The Chapel at Smith Funeral Home with Rev. Monte Lumpkin officiating.  Interment will follow at Quanah Memorial Park under the direction of Smith Funeral Home, Quanah.
   Huseman was born Aug. 23, 1922 in Oklahoma City, Okla. to the late John and Dora Reed Hefner. She married Jesse Fitzpatrick in 1939. He preceded her in death in 1978. She married Alvin (Buddy) Huseman in 1987. He preceded her in death in 2012. She grew up in Montague. She moved to Acme in 1939 and later to Quanah in 1954. She moved to Amarillo, TX in 1968 where she worked for numerous hospitals, retiring from the Osteopathic Hospital in 1980.
   She is survived by two sons, Larry Don Fitzpatrick of Amarillo and Kenneth Fitzpatrick of Quanah; two daughters, Laverne Ann McQueen and Karen Florene McCarl, both, Amarillo; a stepdaughter, Inez Jenkins of Dumas; nine grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
