Mary Ann Ford-Booker

   Mary Ann Ford-Booker, 67, of Vernon, died on Thursday, Nov. 6, 2014, in Dallas. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2014, at New Hope Baptist Church. Interment will be in Lawton, Okla.
   Booker was born June 6, 1947 in Oklaunion, a daughter of Willie Ford and Gertrude Henderson-Ford. She attended school in Bryant. She married Henry Booker in Dallas. She was a homemaker. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church where she was a Sunday School teacher.
   Survivors are three sons, Charlie Roquemore of Memphis, Tenn., Robert Jefferson of Dallas, and Marcus Phillips of Vernon; three sisters, Estella Ford of Augusta, Ga., Diane Lay of Vernon and Gracie Favors of Vernon; one brother, John Ford of Colorado Springs, Colo., six grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, and several brothers and sisters.

    i miss my grandma, she was the best grandma anyone could have, and btw i’m the last grand-baby so i got spoiled more.

    and her birthday is not the 6th, its the 9th of June 1947

    Thank you writing about my grandma. It’s super sweet, but one issue her birthday is the 9th of June not the 6th.
