Katrina Kezia Richardson, 53, of Vernon, Texas died on Saturday May 23, 2015 in Vernon. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at the Wood Street Baptist Church with Rev. Norris Thomas officiating. Interment will follow at Wilbarger Memorial Park. Services are under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.
Richardson was born on May 5, 1962 in Colorado Springs, Colo. She was the daughter of Carol Pennington and the late Bob Nabors. She had been married to Donald Richardson for 22 years. She was a graduate of the Vernon College Nursing Program and had worked as a nurse for the Vernon State Hospital and was a Home Health Nurse. She was a member of the Wood Street Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Donald Lee Richardson of the home; mother, Carol Pennington of Sun City, Ariz.; three daughters, Cami Gorham of Vernon, Kelly Gorham of Cheyenne, Wyo., and Jenell Richardson of Vernon; two sons, Joshua Gorham of Searcy, Ark., and Everett Richardson of Vernon; three brothers, Bobby Nabors of Iowa Park, Gary Nabors of Graham and Jeff Nabors of Graham; two sisters, Katherine Dannevik of Lubbock and Amy Dickens Scott of Fort Worth, and five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father and one brother, William Dickens.
Family visitation will be held from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., on Tuesday May 26, 2015 at the funeral home.
