Beryle attended Northside School growing up and was a lifelong member of Fargo Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by husbands, Elwood Luedtke, Richard Kempf, and Jearl Canafax; also a son, Donnie Luedtke, and step-son, Alan Canafax, and three siblings Richard Thomas, Wiley Thomas and Meadie Mason.
Beryle is survived by her sister Alice Thomas and husband Raymond of Vernon, children Butch Luedtke and wife Tam of Abilene and Jenny Luedtke Wall and husband James of Lubbock; step-children Bruce Canafax and wife Faye, Carolyn Elmore and husband Phil, and Diane Canafax; also 10 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, 13 great-great-grandchildren, seven step-grandchildren, seven step-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews and cousins.
One of Beryle’s favorite past times was playing the piano by ear and singing. She entertained all with her “boogy woogy” and songs of long ago. Her joy was playing for her great-grandkids as they danced around her, giggling and singing. We will all miss her strength, beautiful spirit and love of life. She was a follower of Jesus Christ and will be reunited with her loved ones in Heaven.
A special family only service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to your favorite charity or the Fargo Methodist Church, north of Vernon.
