Rep. Jackson draws sub-committee chairman appointment
Congressman Ronny Jackson (TX-13) has been appointed Chairman of the House Armed Services Committee’s Subcommittee on Intelligence and Special Operations.
Jackson said: “I want to thank Chairman Mike Rogers for the honor and opportunity to chair this critical subcommittee. Working to guarantee our defense intelligence community and special operations forces are the world’s most lethal and effective fighting force has always been a top priority of mine, and I am excited to work with the Trump administration to put the safety of Americans first. As Chairman of the Intelligence and Special Operations Subcommittee, I will focus on bolstering our military’s capabilities, ensuring we are prepared for any future conflict, and providing the resources our men and women in uniform need to be successful. I’m humbled by this appointment and ready to continue working on behalf of the American people in the 119th Congress.”
U.S. Representative Mike Rogers (R-AL), Chairman of the House Armed Services Committee, announced the House Armed Services Committee subcommittee chairs for the 119th Congress last Tuesday. Rep. Jackson is one of the seven subcommittee chairs.

“The Armed Services Committee has the crucial task of building the ready, capable, and lethal force our nation needs to deter our adversaries.
