Geneva Ruth Wilson

   Funeral for Geneva Ruth Wilson, 93, Lawton will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, June 28, 2014 at the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home Chapel in Lawton with Tim Evans, pastor of Dayspring Community Church officiating. Burial will be at Davidson Cemetery in Davidson, Okla.Mrs. Wilson died Thursday, June 26, 2014 in Lawton. She was born Jan. 25, 1921 in Davidson, Okla. to John Edmond and Ioma (Gillum) Braziel. She married Herman Estil Wilson on July 21, 1939 in Frederick, Okla.  He died in 1996. Mrs. Wilson worked at the Texas State Hospital in Vernon, Texas until she retired. She won the Psychiatric Aid of the Year Award in 1981 from the Mental Health Association of Texas. She also won numerous bowling awards.  She was a member of the Woman’s International Bowling Congress.
   Survivors include two daughters, Ruth Proctor, San Antonio, and Teresa Wicker, Lawton; four grandchildren, JimAnn Proctor, Odessa,  Damon Proctor, San Antonio,  Debbie Southern and her husband Brian, Cache and Diane Keene and her husband Mark, Lawton;  six great-grandchildren, Brandon Arnold and his wife Kristen, Ric Southern and his wife Anna, all of Lawton, Meagan Wheeler, Oklahoma City, Brandon Keene and his wife April, Norman, P.J. Proctor and Devon Proctor, both of San Antonio, and seven great-great grandchildren, Allison Arnold, Caden Arnold, Emelyn Southern, Adelaide Southern, Nathan Proctor, Ian Proctor and Lorelei Little.
   She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, granddaughter, Pam Proctor, three brothers, Lawson, Ross and A.G. Braziel, and two sisters, Edythe Clark and Gloria Kimbrough.
