Michael Hopkins

   Graveside services for Michael Hopkins, 52 of Vernon, who died on Saturday, Jan. 31, 2015, in Vernon, will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, Feb. 6, 2015 at Wilbarger Memorial Park under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home. Officiating will be Rev. Ron Fox.
   Hopkins was born Monday, May 14, 1962 in Vernon. He was the son of the late Frieda Blasini Hopkins and Everett Hopkins. He married Kim Hopkins on Dec. 5, 2014 in Vernon. He worked for Federal Bureau of Correction as a LT. for 20 plus years. He was owner and operator of Hop’s Fencing in Vernon.
   He is survived by his wife, Kim Hopkins of the home; two daughters, Leea Hopkins and Brooke Hopkins, both of Big Spring; two step-sons, Lee Bodine of Vernon and Rob Cadenhead of Kerrville; two step-daughters, Monica Fields of Kerrville and Stephanie Cadenhead of Big Spring; his father, Everett Hopkins of Vernon, and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, Frieda Hopkins, on June 19, 2013.
   Visitation will be from 6 p.m.to 8 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 5, 2015 at Sullivan Funeral Home.
   Memorials can be made to Hospice of Wichita Falls or American Cancer Society.
