Carl Keith Cook

   Carl Keith Cook, 76 of Vernon, died on Tuesday, April 21, 2015. Graveside services will be held Thursday, April 23, 2015 at 10 a.m., at Wilbarger Memorial Park under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home. Officiating will be Rev. Ron Fox.
   Cook was born Tuesday, Oct. 4, 1938 in Vernon. He was the son of the late Cecil Harvey (Pete) Cook and the late Lucille Brite Cook. He married Ada Lee Duncan on Oct. 9, 1959 in Vernon. He had lived all of his life in Vernon. He worked in the oil field as a Independent Contractor Wilbarger Co., Staley Oil working all over the state of Texas and later he worked as a machinist for Wright Brand Food and as a school bus driver for VISD. He was an adult 4-H supporter. He was a member of Western Trail Cowboy Church.
   He is survived by his wife, Ada Lee Cook, of the home; two sons, Lee Cook of Vernon and David Cook of Wichita Falls; one daughter, Becky Alexander of Vernon; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Amelia Hall of Midlothian and Janet Thomas of Vernon. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Brenda Gayle Cook in 1966, and a brother, Robert Cook.
   Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 22, 2015 from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., at Sullivan Funeral Home. Memorials can be made to the Rathgerber Hospitality House in Wichita Falls or Western Trail Cowboy Church.
