Bill Lovelace

   Bill Lovelace, age 78, of Justin, Texas passed away on Aug. 29, 2015. He was born to the late Edgar and Marie Lovelace on Oct. 16, 1936 in Vernon, Texas where he lived out his youth and graduated from Vernon High School. He received a full football scholarship to Abilene Christian College, where he graduated and met the love of his life Barbra Wilkinson. They married in 1959, moving to Kansas City, then Dallas before settling back in Vernon to raise their three children, Danny, Missy and Mickey.
   This kind, generous and gentle man will leave his legacy of integrity on all he touched. He was a positive, encouraging force in the lives of his loved ones. He will be greatly missed, yet those that loved him most grieve with hope and joy for his return to the Lord and his reunion with his precious wife, Barbra.
   Bill is survived by his three children: Danny Lovelace (Dona) of Rhome, Texas, Missy Taylor (Scott) of Roanoke, Texas and Mickey Lovelace (Kathy) of Bedford, Texas; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
   Bill is preceded in death by his wife, Barbra Lovelace, his sister Linda Hoke and his parents Marie and Edgar Lovelace.
   There will be a memorial service for Mr. Lovelace at 11 a.m. on Sept. 19, 2015 at Lake Cities Church of Christ 280 Indian Creek Dr. Trophy Club, Texas 76262.  Charitable donations can be made in his name to Gentiva Hospice 525 N. Locust St. Denton, Texas 76201-4127.
