Kenneth Ray (Kenny) Nava

   Funeral services for Kenneth Ray (Kenny) Nava, 81, of Vernon, who died on Sunday, Oct. 4, 2015 in Wichita Falls, will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2015 at the Sullivan Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tom Long officiating. Interment will follow at Eastview Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.
   Nava was born on Nov. 16, 1933. He was the son of the late Joe Nava and the late Edna McCurley. He married Peggy Joyce Mitchell on June 16, 1956 in Vernon. She preceded him in death on May 9, 2007. He had worked for the City of Vernon for 25 years and Wilbarger County as a motor grader operator for 10 years. He had lived in Vernon since 1956. He was a member of the First Church of The Nazarene.
   He is survived by two sons, Tracy Nava of Vernon and Mitchell Nava of Vernon; two daughters, Edna Nava Shores of Vernon and Tammy Lewis of Collinsville, Okla.; three brothers, Delmer Nava of Vernon, Bobby Nava of Vernon and Ricky Nava of Perkins, Okla.; three sisters, Beulah Rodriquez of Vernon, Beatrice Tole of Wichita Falls, and Thelma Jackson of Mineral Wells; seven grandchildren  and nine great-grandchildren, Clayton, Trenton, Ryleigh, Zoe, Kade, Alexis, Brynlee, Paxton and Chevy.
   He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, one sister, Stella Eavenson; four brothers, Julian, Frank, Billy and Jimmy Nava, and great-grandchildren, Paytlynn, Adrian and Baby B.
   Pallbearers will be Mark Nava, Eddie Rodriquez, Jason Nava, John Travis Rodriquez, Eric Garcia and Justin Nava.
   Honorary pallbearers will be Ernie Barton, Kenny Barton, Chevy Villeda, Cody Tucker, Clay Tucker, Kade Tucker, Noah Hernandez, T.J. Disbrow, Jeremy Matus and Paxton Matus.
   Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Tuesday, at Sullivan Funeral Home.
   Memorials may be made to the American Kidney Foundation or Hospice of Wichita Falls.
