Norma Fae Jackson
QUANAH – Norma Fae Jackson, 97, of Quanah, died on Monday, Oct. 26, 2015 in Crowell. Services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 29, 2015, at The Church of Christ with Larry Delong and Albert Motsenbocker officiating. Interment following at Quanah Memorial Park under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.
Jackson was born in Quanah on Aug. 14, 1918 to the late Malon C. and Ella Young Owen. She married Thomas Ivan Jackson on Aug. 23, 1941 in Altus, Okla. He preceded her in death on Nov. 15, 2002. She was a resident of Hardeman County all of her life, graduating from Quanah High School and then Cameron University. She taught Bible school for many years and was a member of the Church of Christ. She worked at the Quanah Cap Factory and Riley Construction Co. as a bookkeeper.
She is survived by one daughter, Pequita Hutchison of Quanah; a son, Jimmy Jackson of Van; one sister, Robbie Hurt of Quanah; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Clifford Owen and Buna Owen; three sisters,Cleva Richmond, Dorothy Goss and Billye McKaskle.
Family visitation will be Thursday from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home.
