Suzette McSpadden

   QUANAH – Suzette McSpadden, 72, of Quanah, died on Monday, Nov. 9, 2015, in Wichita Falls. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 12, 2015 at the Chapel at Smith Funeral Home with Albert Motsenbocker officiating. Interment will follow at Goodlett Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.
   McSpadden was born August 23, 1943 in Burkburnett to the late William (Bill) and Imogene Snoddy McLean. She married John McSpadden on Sept. 25, 1963 in Waurika, Okla. She was at 1961 graduate of Burkburnett High School and a member of the First United Methodist Church. She had a pilot’s license since 1970. She enjoyed crocheting and was involved in her sons’ education serving as a room mother in all activities. She was an associate of Smith Funeral Home.
   She is survived by her husband, John McSpadden of Quanah; two sons, James Kent McSpadden of Vernon and Nathan McSpadden of Chillicothe; two brothers, Barney Fudge of Burkburnett and Mark McLean of Houston, and two grandchildren.
   Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2015, at Smith Funeral Home.
   Memorials may be made to the church or favorite charity of choice.
