Calvin Mack Jump

 

   Calvin Mack Jump, 79 of Medicine Mound, Texas, died on Saturday, Dec. 12, 2015, in Vernon, Texas. Services will be held Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2015 at 10 a.m. at Sullivan Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Ron Fox. Burial will be at Big Valley Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2015  6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Sullivan Funeral Home.
   Calvin was born Monday, July 20, 1936 in Brighton, Colo. He was the son of the late Raymond Jump and the late Dora Nichols
Jump. He had lived in Medicine Mound for over 45 years. He was a long time cowboy and operated his own livestock hauling business.
   Calvin is survived by his son, Rick Jump of Gilbert, Ariz.; four grandchildren, Jerry Jump of Glenwood, N.M., Kelly Jo Jump of Fort Sumner, N.M., Randilyn Mayo and Brady Mack Jump of Vernon, ., and three great-grandchildren, Clayton and Jake Jump of Glenwood, N.M., and Claire Mayo of Vernon. He has four surviving brothers Raymond, John, Richard, and Jimmy Jump and one sister, Patty Peterson. He was preceded in death by his son, Randy Mack Jump, in 2002.
