Wilbarger Grand Jury issues indictments

The Wilbarger County Grad Jury convened on Wednesday, Sept. 16. The Grand Jury handed out 37 indictments against 23 individuals.

Mason Dale Ray Munoz was indicted on four counts, stemming from an incident that allegedly occurred on July 12, 2020. He was indicted on two counts of aggravated sexual assault, both Felony 1; a count of indecency with a child, a Felony 3; and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, a Felony 2.

Billy Ray Hampton was indicted for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, a Felony 2 that allegedly occurred on May 10, 2020. On that date, he allegedly assaulted a female he was in a relationship with, also displaying a firearm and made a threat.

Jose Salvador Castillo was indicted on seven counts. He was indicted for the Felony 1 charge of continuous sexual assault of a child from Sept. 2, 2015 to June 1, 2020. He was indicted on five counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child, each a Felony 1 offence. He was indicted for sexual assault, a Felony 2 that allegedly occurred on June 27, 2020.

Joshua Keith Darby was indicted on two counts that allegedly occurred on Aug. 20, 2019. He was indicted on the state jail offense of money laundering and the Felony 3 offense of evading arrest with a vehicle. On that date, Wilbarger County Sheriff deputies responded to a request for backup from a Department of Public Safety Trooper. A subject fled from a car on foot, following a traffic stop. The suspect fled northwest of Oklaunion. WCSO Deputies, using two borrowed all-terrain vehicles from Oklaunion citizens, the Texas Department of Corrections K-9 search team, a Wichita County SO drone and a DPS helicopter all help in the search in temperature around 105 degrees. The suspect was apprehended six hours later.

Willard Damont Bell-Wilson was indicted on three counts that allegedly occurred on July 2, 2020. He was indicted for the Felony 1 offenses of possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) with intent to deliver and possession of a controlled substance (Cocaine) with intent to deliver. He was indicted for evading arrest with a motor vehicle, a Felony 2. On that date, the Vernon Police Department K9, “Jak” assisted in the capture of Bell-Wilson. A Vernon Police officer attempted to make a traffic stop on a white suburban in the 1400 block of Nabers. The officer’s report stated he recognized the driver, as having multiple felony warrants for his arrest. The suburban fled on residential streets before losing control, hitting a utility pole guideline and rolling. Bell allegedly got out of the vehicle and fled on foot. An officer released the K9 in pursuit and the dog took Bell down.

Adam Joseph Shultz and Chase Dempsey Dorow were both indicted on two counts; for credit/debit card abuse, a state jail offense; and for forgery, a felony 3. The indictments against both men stemmed from an incident allegedly occurred on June 16, 2020.

Florence Cooper Jr., was indicted for Failure to register as a sex offender, a Felony 3.

Donald Lewis Fennell was indicted for the Felony 3 offense of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, which allegedly occurred on Aug. 14, 2020.

Mark Garcia Gonzales was indicted for assault family violence with previous convictions, a Felony 3 that allegedly occurred on July 12, 2020.

Humberto Davila was indicted for assault family violence impede breath, a Felony 2 that allegedly occurred on April 16, 2020.

Kimberly Angeline Delafuente, was indicted for forgery, a state jail offense that allegedly occurred on January 1, 2019.

Mario Vasquez was indicted for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, a state jail offense that allegedly occurred on January 25, 2020.

Tracie Nicole Ogles was indicted for abandoning or endangering a child, a state jail offense that allegedly occurred on March 30, 2020.

 

 

 

Drug indictments

Three indictments were handed down for Felony 3-Enhanced possession of a controlled substance. These include Richard Paul Gaines, David Lynn Wofford, and David Gonzales.

Moseley Booker Jr., and Rachel Lynn Waddell were indicted for Felony 3 possession of a controlled substance.

Michael Allan Greer was indicted for Felony 2 possession of a controlled substance. On May 10, 2020 officers made a traffic stop on a bicycle for no lighting equipment in the 1700 block of Commerce.The K9 arrived and reportedly made a positive alert. The subject allegedly tried to discard the drugs by hiding them under the police car.

Brian Lee Manning, Debra Lynn Singletary, and Alice Valdez-Salazar were each indicted on the state jail offense of possession of a controlled substance.
