UPDATE: Sen. Perry town hall cancelled due to covid concerns

Sen. Charles Perry’s planned town hall meeting at the Wilbarger Auditorium  on November 19th has been cancelled. This was due to senator’s concern for the spike in covid cases and hospitalization rates.

Sen. Charles Perry is hosting a town hall meeting at the Wilbarger Auditorium in the Forum Room from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on November 19th.

“COVID-19 has brought about a lot of challenges for the people of Texas and it is important the legislature address this head on during the next legislative session. I want to hear from the people of this community regarding how I can best advocate for them during the next legislative session,” said Sen. Perry.

The 87th Legislative Session begins January 12, 2021. Sen. Perry currently chairs the Senate Committee on Water & Rural Affairs and is Vice-Chair of the Health & Human Services Committee. He also sits on the Senate Committees for Agriculture, Criminal Justice, Finance, Transportation, and Redistricting.

At the town hall, Sen. Perry will discuss the upcoming 87th Legislative Session, and most importantly, answer questions from the community.
