Gregory Charles Thomas

Gregory Charles Thomas, 66 died Saturday, July 1,
2023 at United Regional Hospital in Wichita Falls. Greg
was surrounded by his beloved daughter, Samantha and
dear friends, Ron and Tyler.
Greg was born July 10, 1956 in Vernon, Texas, the 1st
born son of Alton Howard and Barbara (Bolton) Thomas.
Greg graduated with honors from Vernon High School
in 1974. While in high school, he played tennis and was
in the National Honor Society. Greg attended Abilene
Christian University for three years and then graduated
from the University of Central Oklahoma in 1979.
Greg was preceded in death by his father, Howard Thomas and brother in law,
Brent Barrow. He is survived by his beloved daughter, Samantha, of Wichita Falls,
his mother, Barbara Thomas of Fort Worth, his brother J Todd Thomas of Vernon,
and his wife Kristie, and sister, Starlyn Barrow of Fort Worth; nieces, Dr. Callie
Hataway, Breanna Stone, and Katie Herring; and nephews Skyler Thomas and
Thomas Barrow.
There will be a private family celebration of his life at the family home with
a later public celebration of his life later in August. Date and time is to be
determined and will be announced.
In lieu of 􀃀 owers the family requests a donation in Greg’s name to The Wichita
Falls Ballet Theater. Greg loved watching the ballet as his daughter danced in
many productions.
