Sandie was born July 7, 1961 in Vernon, Texas to
Frank Leon and Evelyn Carol (Eppler) Sanders. She
attended Vernon Public Schools, graduating with the
Class of 1979. She was united in marriage to Thomas
Alton “Tommy” Cotten on October 24, 1980 in

Brandon, Blake, and Abby Dale. That was the beginning of Sandie’s lifelong passion
of being a housewife and stay-at-home Mom. In her Super Hero days, she was a
school bus driver eleven years for Vernon Public Schools. It was always amazing
how many students she drove to school would quickly recognize her and call her
by name while she was shopping or eating out! Sandie was also a pharmacy tech
working at local pharmacies in the area. Above all, her greatest passion in life was
being a devoted wife, Mom, and Lolo. Her granddogs held a very special place in her
heart. She loved birds, butter ies, seashells, the color blue, and all the beauty that her
Lord created. She was a member of the Restoration Church in Frederick.
