Wilbarger General Hospital welcomes new CFO

Wilbarger General Hospital is excited to welcome Bridgette Lowery Reeves as the new CFO.

Reeves’ family moved to Vernon in 1997 because her father, Bill Lowery, accepted the CFO position at WGH. She graduated from Vernon High School in 2000 and received a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from BYU-Idaho. Then, she moved to San Antonio to pursue a Master’s in Public Administration and became a Certified Public Accountant.

Reeves moved back home to Vernon in 2018 to work as the CFO at North Texas State Hospital and then spent time as the CFO of Waggoner National Bank. She is currently serving as President of the Vernon Lion’s Club, Treasurer for Vernon-Wilbarger County Crimestoppers, and Board Member for Wilbarger County Child Welfare Board.

A community welcome for Reeves into her new position was held on July 12, 2024.
