Ashley Layton, 29, of Electra, died on Saturday, Feb. 22, 2014, in Vernon. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2014 at the Rock Crossing Cowboy Church. Officiating will be the Rev. Lloyd Daniel. Interment will be held at Mack Cemetery under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.
Layton was born Monday, Sept. 24, 1984 in Gruver. She was the daughter of James Heddins and Connie Ponder. She married Randy Layton on Aug. 2, 2004 in Guymon, Okla. She was a graduate of Guymon High School in Guymon, Okla. She had lived in Vernon since 2006. She was a member of Rock Crossing Cowboy Church. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Randy Layton of the home; her son, Reece Layton of Electra; her daughter, Gracie Layton of Electra; her mother, Connie Ponder of Amarillo; her father and stepmother, James and Michelle Heddins of Florida; her stepfather, Shawn Barbaree of Guymon, Okla.; one sister, Bethany Barbaree of Amarillo, and one brother, Chancelor Barabree of Amarillo.
Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Monday, Feb. 24, 2014 at Sullivan Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to the Rorock Crossing Cowboy Church.
Pallbearers will be Josh Rodriquez, Kacey Frazier, Randy Barnett, Justin Henry, John Paul Welch and Chris Henry.
