Sarah Kay Hall
Sarah Kay Hall, 70 of Vernon, died on Tuesday, April 8, 2014, in Vernon. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, April 11, 2014 at Sullivan Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating will be the Rev. Greg Johnson. Interment will be held at Eastview Cemetery under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.
Sarah was born Saturday, Jan. 22, 1944 in Vernon. She was the daughter of the late C.B. Thomas and the late Estelle Matilda Meredith Thomas. She had lived in Vernon all of her life. She worked at North Texas State Hospital and Center South in food service for 20 years. She was a member of the Church of God.
She is survived by two sons, Rodney Haynes and wife Angie of Navaro, Fla., and Peter Hall and wife Jessica of Vernon; one daughter, Retha Limon and husband Domingo of Lockett; four grandsons, J.C. Holcomb II, Austin Hall, Dakota Holcomb and Bryce Sunday; two granddaughters, Amber Haynes and Harlie Munoz; three great-granddaughters, Mackenzie Sweet, Kaylee Holcomb and Whitney Sunday.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday, April 10, 2014 at Sullivan Funeral Home.
Memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society.
Pallbearers will be Domingo Limon, J.C. Holcomb, II, Dakota Holcomb, Louis Tubbs, Austin Hall, and Bryce Sunday.
