Bobbie Lee Knight

   CROWELL – Bobbie Lee Knight, 84, died Wednesday, May 7, 2014 in Vernon. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, May 9, 2014, at Womack-Manard Funeral Home Chapel in Crowell with the Rev. Ron Fox, pastor of the Western Trail Cowboy Church in Lockett, officiating. Interment will be in Crowell Cemetery.
   Knight was born July 27, 1929 in Crowell, a daughter of the late Pat and Susie Whitley McDaniel Sr. She  married Gordon Erwin in 1947 in Crowell. She later married Herman Knight Sr. in 1959. She was a longtime resident of Crowell and a graduate of Crowell High School. She had lived in Vernon from 1958 to 1991, when she moved back to Crowell. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Crowell, where she was a member of the Esther Sunday School Class. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star and the Forty-Two Club. She was a retired nurse and homemaker.

    She is survived by her daughter, Cindy Erwin Ghazel of Crowell; four sons, Bill Erwin of Ruidoso, N.M., James Knight of Seymour, Ken Knight of Midland and Kevin Knight of Midland; one brother, James Grady McDaniel of Lake Arrowhead; 13 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
   He was preceded in death by one brother, Charles Hines McDaniel on July 6, 2010. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Crowell or a charity of choice.
   Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., Friday, May 9, 2014, at Womack-Manard Funeral Home in Crowell.
