Mable Estelle Roberts

   Mable Estelle Roberts died on May 28, 2014 in Frisco, Texas following a lengthy illness. She was born on May 3, 1922 in Crowell.
   Mable married John (Weaver) Roberts on March 7, 1940. Weaver was in the Air Force during World War II and they lived at several bases throughout Texas prior to settling in Quanah. Mable resided in Quanah for 60 years. She has been living with her daughter in Frisco for the past eight and a half years.
   Mable was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Quanah and attended services until she was unable to physically do so. She had many great friends in Quanah whose friendships she cherished for many decades. Mable is preceded in death by her husband, Weaver, who died on May 7, 1984.
   She is survived by her daughter, Janet Stagg and son-in-law Richard Stagg, of Frisco, TX. She has two grandchildren, Terry Stagg of Wichita Falls and Elizabeth Ravindran of Keller. She also has two great -grandchildren, Laura Stagg and Cade Stagg, and two great-great-grandchildren Lydia Stagg and Bryer Stagg, all of Wichita Falls. She is also survived by a sister, Dorothy Dodd, of Brownwood, and seven nieces and nephews.
   A graveside memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., at the Quanah Cemetery on Saturday, May 31, 2014. Viewing will be at Smith Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Friday at Smith Funeral Home.
