Bobbie Jane Price

   Bobbie Jane Price, 77, of Duncan, Okla., passed away on Tuesday, June 17, at her home in Duncan.
   A private family memorial service is scheduled at a later date.  Arrangements were under the direction of the Don Grantham Funeral Home and there will be no visitation at the funeral home.
   Bobbie was born Feb. 14, 1937 at Frederick, Okla. to Charles W. and Vennie (Young) Potter.  She graduated from Cameron University School of Nursing and worked as a Registered Nurse for the Vernon State Hospital in Vernon at the time of her retirement.
   Bobbie married Marvin L. Price Jr.  He preceded her in death on Jan. 25, 2011. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and had found a special place in her heart for her foster grandchildren.
   Bobbie is survived by three children, Shirl Hines and husband Geary of Duncan, Jackie Wayne Burk of Stringtown, Okla., Bobby Ray Burk and wife Cheryle of Crowell, and  Linda Brown of Houston; one brother, Wilbert Potter of California, seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
   Bobbie was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters, Johnnie Mae Stergus and husband James, Genevia Hooper and husband P.W. and Vetta Akins and husband Tom.
