T.C. Kendrick, 24 of Vernon, died on Monday, July 7, 2014, in Houston. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, July 10, 2014 at Sullivan Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating will be the Rev. Tom Long. Interment will be at Wilbarger Memorial Park under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.
Kendrick was born Monday, Aug. 21, 1989 in Wichita Falls. He was the son of Bobby Kendrick and Marcia Wright Kendrick. He married Jessica Billings on April 13, 2012 in Vernon. He was in the Army Reserves for seven years as a heavy equipment mechanic. He later worked for Tyson Foods. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Jessica Kendrick of the home; one son, Elijah Billings of Vernon; three brothers, Sean Kendrick, Curtis Kendrick and Thomas Kendrick, all of Vernon; two sisters, Whitney Kendrick of Wichita Falls and Jasmine Kendrick of Vernon; his parents, Bobby and Marcie Kendrick of Vernon; maternal grandparents, Harvey and June Wright of Elk City, Okla.; paternal grandmother, Gaynelle Lapond of Fort Worth, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at Sullivan Funeral Home.
Memorials can be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
Pallbearers will be Curtis Kendrick, Sean Kendrick, Zac McWilliams, Harold Jones, James Breidenbach, Johnny Delgado and Thomas Kendrick.
