Lupe Laguanas Lozano

   Lupe Lagunas Lozano, 99 of Vernon,  died on Thursday, July 10, 2014, in Vernon. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, July 14, 2014, at Holy Family Catholic Church. Officiating will be Father Joy Joseph. Interment will be held at Eastview Cemetery under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.
   Lozano was born Wednesday, Nov. 18, 1914 in Vernon. She was the daughter of the late Frank Montez and the late Sandra Sudua Montez. She was married to Seforino Lagunas. He preceded her in death in 1962. She later married Martin Lozano. He preceded her in death in 2005. She had lived in Vernon all of her life. She had worked for Vernon Compress. She was a life time member of VFW Ladies Auxiliary and American Legion. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church.
   She is survived by three sons, David Lagunas, Geronimo Lagunas and Stephen Lagunas, all of Burkburnett; three daughters,  Rosie Nava, Emma Nava and Vivian White, all of Vernon as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Helen Nava in 2013; a grandson, Jimmy Ray Nava, Jr., in 2010; three brothers, two sisters, a son, Joe Lagunas in 2001, and a daughter, Vickie Gomez in 1978.
   Rosary will be held at 6 p.m., Sunday July 13, 2014 at Sullivan Funeral Home.
   Pallbearers will be Jesse Maldonado, Michael Maldonado, Chano Maldonado, David Maldonado, Regina Nava, and Chris White.
