Charlie Wade

   Charlie Wade, 94 of Vernon, died on Saturday, Aug. 2, 2014, in Vernon. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, Aug. 8, 2014 at Eastview Cemetery. Officiating will be the Rev. Bobby Ray Wade. Interment is under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.
   Wade was born Thursday, Jan. 8, 1920 in Nacogdoches. He married Nettie Miles in 1935. She preceded him in death Aug. 3, 2012. He had lived in Vernon since 1983. He is a member of First Baptist Church. He was a farmer.
   He is survived by one son, R.L. Wade of Vernon; one daughter, Shirley Wade of Vernon, and one sister, Joyce Washington of Tyler. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nettie; one son, Charlie Wade, Jr, and one daughter Doris Jean Wade.
   Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 7, 2014 at Sullivan Funeral Home.
