Malvin Leo Westover Sr.

   Melvin Leo Westover, Sr., 79 of Vernon, as died on Thursday, Aug. 7, 2014, in Wichita Falls. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m., on Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2014 at Crowell Cemetery. Officiating will be Bill Lowery. Interment will be under the direction of Womack-Manard Funeral Home, Crowell.
   Westover was born Wednesday, June 26, 1935 in Phoenix, Ariz. He was the son of the late Rex Westover and the late Margaret Tremble Westover. He married Shirley Lilly on Jan. 16, 1954 in Phoenix, Ariz. She preceded him in death on Feb. 19, 1998. He was a butcher for D&T Foodway in Crowell, and he was a delivery driver for Hillcrest Pharmacy. He was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
   He is survived by two sons, Melvin Westover Jr. of Pleasant Grove, Utah, and David L. Westover of McKinney; three daughters, Roseanne Ellis of Crowell, Marie Muse of Vernon and Elizabeth Wyatt of Richfield, Utah; 16 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
   Visitation will be from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., on Monday, Aug. 11, 2014 at Womack-Manard Funeral Home.
   Memorials can be made to Hospice of Wichita Falls or the Vernon Boys & Girls Club.
