Earline Ruby Lemon

   ELK CITY, Okla. — Earline Ruby Lemon, 97 of Elk City, Okla., died on Thursday, Aug. 28, 2014, in Elk City, Okla. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 4, 2014 at Eastview Cemetery. Officiating will be Rev. Ron Fox. Interment will be under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.
   Lemon was born Monday, July 23, 1917 in Liberty Hill. She was the daughter of the late C.J. Harris and the late Annie Sivley Harris. She married Arvel L. Lemon on Dec. 5, 1938 in Frederick, Okla. He preceded her in death on Jan. 13, 1990. She moved to Carlsbad, N.M. in 1950 then back to Vernon in 1977 and lived the last four years in Elk City, Okla. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church of Vernon. She was a homemaker.
   She is survived by one daughter, Patricia Gunsolus of Elk City, Okla.; one son, Larry Lemon of Mayhill, N.M.; one sister, Bennie Gibbs of Denton; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one nephew and nine nieces.
   She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; a son, Ricky Ray Lemon; a sister, Mildred Insall, and a brother, Lloyd Harris.
   Visitation will be from 12 noon to 1:30 pm., before service time on Thursday at Sullivan Funeral Home.
