   CROWELL – Arnold L. Cox, 85, of Crowell, died on Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2014, in Crowell. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, Nov. 14, 2014, at Womack-Manard Funeral Home Chapel in Crowell. Interment will be in Crowell Cemetery under the direction of Womack-Manard Funeral Home of Crowell.Bro.  Robert Menske of Crowell will officiate.                                                                                                                                                            

   Cox was born on Aug. 6, 1929, in Foard County. He was born on Aug. 6, 1929 in Foard County, son of the late Ernest McGee and Clara Bell Phillips Cox.
   He married Anna Ruth Daniel on June 28, 1952 in Crowell. He was a lifetime resident of Crowell. He served in the United States Navy from 1948-1952 on board the USS Orleck, as 2nd class Petty Officer, where he was a salvage diver and under water demolition expert. He received metals of recognition for Navy Occupation, China Service, Korean Service, and Good Conduct. He was the owner-operator of Cox Saw Shop and Service Engine Repair. He attended the Abundant Life Church in Crowell. He was a member of the Odd Fellow Lodge and the Disabled American Vets.
   He is survived by his wife, Anna Ruth Daniel Cox of Crowell; three daughters, Brenda Jackson and Bonnie Cox Bessire, both of Vernon, and Betty Cox of Crowell. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Jaquitta Ann Cox, on Jan. 26, 1950.
   Memorials may be made to the Abundant Life Church of Crowell or Hospice of Wichita Falls, Inc.
   Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., on Thursday, Nov. 13, 2014, at Womack-Manard Funeral Home, Crowell.
