Linda Lambert

   Linda Lambert was born on May 20, 1950 in Shawnee, Okla. to Ervin W. and Vada (Cook) Ainsworth. She went home to her heavenly Father in Wichita Falls, Texas on Dec. 9, 2014 at the age of 64 years, six months and 19 days.
   As a young child, Linda began school in Lockett, and moved with her family to the Vernon area where she called “home.” After high school graduation, she attended west Texas A & M University.  She later married Larry Lambert on Aug. 17, 1979, and they were blessed with 35 years together.  Linda worked for Avon Products, Inc. for 28 years as a District Sales Manager achieving many divisional and national awards. She retired in April of 2006 and for the first time became a house wife and enjoyed working on creative projects and crafting. She loved to ride behind Larry, and together they put many miles on their Harley, “Fu Man Chu”.  
   Linda was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church and had been a member of the Patriot Guard Riders and the Wichita Falls Business and Professional Women’s Organization.
   She was preceded in death by her parents, her father and mother-in-law, Laudy and Virgie Lambert; brother, Bill Ainsworth;  granddaughter, Lacey Rhodes, two sisters-in-law, Sharon Lambert Crews and Juanita Ainsworth, and nephew, Randall Keith Ainsworth.
   She is survived by her husband, Larry; four children, Ricky Lambert and wife, Paige, Vernon, Scott Bell and wife, Melisa, Elk City, Okla., Donna Lanham and husband, Randy, Amarillo, Sean Bell and wife, Jennifer, Wichita Falls, two brothers, Joe Ainsworth, Electra, Ronnie Ainsworth and wife, Dianna of Knox City, sister, Glenda Ainsworth, Alamogordo, N.M.,  13 grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, and many other family and friends.  
   The family appreciates memorials made in Linda’s honor to the Calvary Baptist Church, Vernon or Hospice of Wichita Falls.
   A celebration of her life will be held Friday, Dec. 12, 2014 at 10 a.m., at the Calvary Baptist Church, Vernon, officiated by Bro. Toby Castleberry. Burial will follow at Wilbarger Memorial Park under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home. Family visitation will be held Thursday, Dec. 11, 2014 from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., at Sullivan Funeral Home in Vernon.
