Billy G. Bromfield

   Billy G Bromfield, 79 of Vernon, died on Sunday, Dec. 21, 2014, in Crowell. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2014 at Eastview Cemetery under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home. Officiating will be Joe Mac “Hoho” Petit.
   Billy was a born Monday, Aug. 26, 1935 in Montague County. He was the son of the late James M. Bromfield and the late Velma Burris Bromfield. He worked on the ranch and farm of Waggoner Estate for 55 years.
   He is survived by his companion, Nina Bromfield of Vernon; one daughter, Karen DeBord and husband Emmit of Vernon; one granddaughter, Kara Pepper and husband Troylon A. of Vernon; two great-grandsons, Gage Pepper of Amarillo and Hunter Kade Pepper of Vernon; two great-great-grandchildren, MaKayla Grace Pepper and Troylon Kayden Pepper both of Amarillo; an adopted daughter, Julie Scott of Vernon; an adopted grandson, Jarron Michael Scott of Las Cruces, N.M., and lifelong best friend, Sid Mason of Vernon.
   Visitation will be from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., Monday, Dec. 22, 2014 at Sullivan Funeral Home.
   Memorials can be made to Hospice of Wichita Falls or Alzheimer’s Association.
   Pallbearers will be Jerry Welch, Sid Mason, Don Mason, Weldon Hawley, George Cooper, Ricky Rios, and Ed Alaniz.
