Dorthy Fay Williams

   Dorthy Fay Williams, age 70, of Mena, Ark. died Friday, Dec. 26, 2014 at her home. She was born on Saturday, Sept. 9, 1944 to Oscar Marvin and Cora Mae Steele Downes in Lott, Texas.
   Dorthy was a person of integrity and honesty and lived her life in that manner. Dorthy was a hard worker.  She loved her family and spending all the time she could them. Dorthy enjoyed going dancing and sewing. Dorthy was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, and will be missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her two husbands, Joe Ivy and James Williams; one grandson, Joshua Ivy, two sons, Don Ivy and Dale Ivy; one brother, Eugene Downes.
   Dorthy is survived by her daughter, Dana Woods of Corinth, Texas; four stepsons, Jimmy Williams, Terry Williams, Joe Ivy and Richard Ivy; five stepdaughters, Sharron Ivy, Shirley Ivy, Kim Williams, Tammie Montgomery and Ronnette Tillis; three brothers, Herbert Downes, Marvin Downes and Gerald Downes; four sisters, Lurlene Lane, Lois Jablonski, Brenda Raschke and Tina Baker; two grandchildren, Krystal Woods and Donnie Woods; great-grandchildren, Victoria Woods, Colton Loyd, Danicalyn Neer and Dakota Neer, all of Mena, Ark; many nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
   A celebration of life memorial service will be held Saturday, Jan. 31 at the VFW in Vernon.
