Iva Pauline Pierce

   QUANAH – Iva Pauline Pierce, 86, formerly of Quanah, died on Sunday, March 1, 2015, in Hallsville. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, March 5, 2015, at Quanah Memorial Park with James Boone officiating. Interment will be under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.  
   Pierce was born Sept. 24, 1928 to the late Guy and Florence Simmons Naron in Foard County. She graduated from Crowell High School in 1947. She attended beauty school in Wichita Falls and was a beautician there from many years until retuning to Quanah where she lived until she moved to be with her daughter when her health declined. She married George Pierce on May 13, 1964.
   She is survived by her daughter, Peggy Ann Pierce Boone of Hallsville; brother, Bill Naron of Burkburnett; six grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Daurice Ray Naron, Ercy Dorman Naron and Maurice (Shorty) Naron.
    Family visitation will be from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at Smith Funeral Home, Quanah.
