Louise Atwood

   Louise Atwood, 78 of Vernon, died on Saturday, April 18, 2015, in Wichita Falls. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at Wilbarger Memorial Park under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home. Officiating will be Rev. Phillip Weitner.
   Atwood was born Sunday, Aug. 2, 1936 in Kent, Okla. She was the daughter of the late Norman Lane and the late Ester Laderman Lane. She was  married Vollie W. Jolly.He preceded her in death in 1978. She later married Gilbert Atwood, He preceded her in death in 1990. She worked for M.E. Moses for several years, retiring from there. She worked at the State Hospital in 2001 in food service. She was owner of Louise Tiny Diner for many years and was well known as the “Pie Lady.” She was active at Vernon Assembly of God Church. She served in the prison ministry in Jacksboro.
   She is survived by two sons, Vollie W. Jolly Jr. of Vernon and Kevin Jolly of Wichita Falls; four daughters, Dian Anzaldua of Vernon, Donna Herrera of Vernon, Pamela Lankford of Robinson and Patty Jolly of Vernon; three sisters,  Freida Houk of Canyon; LaMerl Hamro of Jacksboro and Kay Sexton of Jacksboro; nine grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Kenneth Lane and Bobby Lane.  Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Monday, April 20, 2015, at Sullivan Funeral Home.
   Memorials can be made to Hospice of Wichita Falls.
