Cleo Beatrice Cox

   QUANAH-  Cleo Beatrice Cox, 79, formerly of Quanah, died on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 in Wichita Falls. Graveside Services will be 2 p.m., Friday, May 22, 2015 at Goodlett Cemetery.  Interment will be the direction of Smith Funeral Home.
   Cox was born July 18, 1935 to the late Hubert and Ethel Downey Burgi in Acme. She was a graduate of Quanah High School and Vernon College becoming a Licensed Vocational Nurse. She was a member of the Henrietta Cowboy Church. She was an avid reader and enjoyed bowling.
   She is survived by her daughter, Vickie Davis of Dallas; two sons, Rockey Davis of Lewiston, Idaho, and Stanley Davis of Quanah; two sisters, Loretta Avant of Wichita Falls, and Edna Sue Roberts of Grandfield, Okla.’ six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Mark Davis, and two brothers, Sterling and Melvin Burgi.
   Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., Friday, March 22, 2015.
