C.W. Stone

   C.W. Stone, 57, of Bushland, Texas, died on Wednesday June 3, 2015 in Amarillo. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., on Monday, June 8, 2015 at the First United Methodist Church in Chillicothe with Rev. Leland Hall officiating. Interment will follow at the Chillicothe Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Smith Chapel in Chillicothe.
   C.W. was born on March 3, 1958 in Azle, Texas. He was the son of Ronald Stone and the late Mary Elizabeth Hamm Stone. He married Starla Boone on Nov. 18, 1989 in Granbury, Texas. He had served in the U.S. Army. He had worked as a DTL fuel operator with Savage and was retired from the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. He was passionate about fishing and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Chillicothe.
   Surviving are wife, Starla Stone of the home; one son, Coda Wayne Stone of Bushland; three daughters, Randa Camille Stone of Bushland, Kristen Stone Horn of Olney, and Kaci Stone of Chillicothe;  grandchildren, Kadin Stone, Kaizley Stone, Whitney Stone, Konner Horn and Emma Horn; brother, Greg Stone of Vernon; sister, Pam Stone Martinez of Grandview; father, Ronald Stone of Vernon; Theda Lindsey of Cleburne; many nieces and nephews.
   Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 7, 2015 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Smith Chapel in Chillicothe.
   Memorials may be made to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation or the American Cancer Society.
   Pallbearers will be Gabe Castillo, Mike Moore, Ruben Rodriguez, Vernon Littlecreek, Raymond Mujica, Justin Stone, Landry Martinez and Austin Martinez.
