Helen Irene Richardson

   Helen Irene Richardson, 81, went to be with Jesus on June 25, 2015 in the Chillicothe Hospital. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m., Saturday, June 27, 2015 in Waurika, Okla., at Waurika Church of Christ under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home. Officiating will be Minister Noel Currington of Waurika.
   Helen was born in Tuttle, Okla., on Aug. 11, 1933. She was the a daughter of the late George and Zelma Payne Salley. She graduated from Waurika High School and later married William (Jim) Richardson on Oct. 5, 1962.
   She is survived by nine sisters: Vi Swafford of Agra, Okla., Jean Welch of Las Cruses, N.M., Margie Roe of Cushing, Okla., Carol Alston of Greenwood, Ark. Joyce Adams of Kiefer, Okla., Joann Frye of Cushing, Okla., Gloria Collard of Tulsa, Okla., Sherry Hadley of Fort Smith, Ark., and Linda Pinkerton of Norman, Okla., and two brothers, Glenn Salley of Gepp, Ark., and Kenneth Salley of Fort Smith, Ark.
   Also surviving are two sons, William (Skip) and wife Sonya Richardson of Quanah, and Ricky and wife, Susan Richardson of Vernon, and one daughter, Debra and husband John of Waurika, Okla.; five grandchildren, Michael Richardson, and Robin Casarez and husband Chris of Vernon, Josh Griffin of Wichita Falls, Julie and husband Jeff Gresham of Quanah, and Jordon and husband, Clay Conley of Fargo; five great-grandchildren, Christopher Ryan Casarez, Kaleb Griffin, Arowen Griffin, Ella Belle Conley and Skyler Gresham, and many nieces and nephews.
   Pallbearers will be nephews and great-nephews.
   Helen was a member of the Fargo Church of Christ. She had been a resident of Vernon since 2013 when she moved from Waurika. She had also been a resident of Fargo in the 1970s when her late husband, Jim, was the minister of the Fargo Church of Christ. Helen taught children’s classes at the churches where her husband ministered. Helen was a faithful Christian who spread the Gospel wherever she went. She was loved very much by her family and many friends.
   Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Jim, in 2000; son, Michael, and parents, George and Zelma Salley.
