Gordon Derrell Golleher

   QUANAH – Gordon Derrell Golleher, 81, of Quanah, died, Friday, Jan. 8, 2016, in Quanah. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2016 at The Chapel at Smith Funeral Home with Brother Pete Wylie officiating, Interment will follow at Quanah Memorial Park under the direction of Smith Funeral Home, Quanah.
   Golleher was born Aug. 23, 1934 to the late George Lee and Ruth Stapp Golleher in Quitaque. He married Charlene Frerich, on June 20, 1958, in Wichita Falls. She preceded him in death on Aug. 18, 2013. He has been a resident of Hardeman County since 1969. He was a mechanic for GMC and Chevrolet in Vernon for 32 years and later retired from the Quanah Independent School District as a mechanic.
   He is survived by  five daughters, Regina Jacobs of Vernon, Jolene Foster of Cleburne, Rebecca Golleher of Fort Worth, Monica Thompson of Eldorado, Okla., and Carrie Butler of Eldorado, Okla.; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren, and one sister, Veneta Noland of Fort Worth.
   Memorials may be made to Hospice of Wichita Falls.
   Visitation will be from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., on Monday, Jan. 11, 2016.
