James Woodrow (Jim) Milner

   James Woodrow (Jim) Milner, 70 of Vernon, died on Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2016, in Vernon. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Friday, Feb. 12, 2016 at Sullivan Funeral Home.
   Milner was born Friday, July 20, 1945 in Lubbock. He was the son of the late Woodrow Pershing Milner and the late Edna Evelyn Latham Milner. He was a graduate of Lockett High School in 1963. He attended the University of North Texas. He was a member of the Lockett Baptist Church.
   He is survived by three sons, Chris Milner of Vernon, Chance Milner of Fort Worth and James J. Milner of Vernon; one daughter, Cody Milner of Vernon; one sister, Barbara Jackson of Vernon; 12 grandchildren and two nieces.
   Memorials can be made to Lockett High School Scholarship Fund at Vernon College, Autism Speaks or favorite charity.
