Mary Evelyn Wilson Killian

   Mary Evelyn Wilson Killian, 95, born Oct. 4, 1920, in Paris, Texas, went to be with her Lord on Feb. 21, 2016 in Wichita Falls, Texas.
   She was the daughter of the late Roy Denton Wilson, Sr. and Hattie Lee
Bryan Wilson.
   The family moved to Wilbarger County in 1926, where Evelyn graduated with the first Northside graduating class in 1936 at the age of 16. She married Terrell Glenn Killian on Jan. 14, 1939, in Altus, Okla. Terrell entered the Marine Corp, and they lived in Shafter, Calif. for a time where she was a Rosie the Riveter, and she continued that job at Victory Field in Vernon. She retired from the Vernon State Hospital in 1982.
   Her hobbies included sewing, crocheting, oil and China painting, and she
was an avid baseball fan, especially of the Boston Red Sox and the Atlanta Braves. She so enjoyed seeing and cooking for her family and friends.
   She was a member of the Fargo Church of Christ, Fargo Extension
Homemakers Club, Porcelain Art Club and active in all of Northside School activities as long as her health would permit.
   She is predeceased by her husband, daughter, Barbara Ann; great-
granddaughter, Barbara Anne Watkins, and brothers, Donald, Bryan and R.D. Wilson, Jr.
   She is survived by daughters, Jennifer Pruner, of Wichita Falls, Vickie
Lynn and Charles Norton of Santo, and Glenna Lee and Pat Bryant of Vernon, Texas. Also grandchildren Paula and Danny Watkins of Daphne, Alabama, Jarrod Glenn and Alicia Fowler of Dallas, Bradley Kyle Fowler    of  Dallas, and Leah and David Atkeisson of Kerens; great-grandchildren, J.T. and Holly Watkins of Greensboro, N.C., Elizabeth Watkins of Tuscaloosa, Ala., Marnaigh Maxwell of Dallas, Toby Fowler of Dallas, and Lauren and Katherine Atkeisson of Kerens., and two great-great-granddaughters, Sophia and Sydney Fowler.
   Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 5-7 p.m. at Sullivan Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Wilbarger Street Church of Christ, with Joe Dale Wilson, Fargo Church of Christ minister, officiating. Burial will follow at Fargo Cemetery.
   Pallbearers will be Pat Bryant, Charles Norton, Jarrod Fowler, Bradley
Fowler, Toby Fowler and David Atkeisson.
   In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Tipton Home,
Fargo Cemetery Association or to your favorite charity.
