Rose Perkins, 71, of Oklahoma City, Okla., died on Monday, April 18, 2016 in Oklahoma City, Okla. Funeral service will be held on Monday, April 25, 2016 at 11 a.m., at the Sullivan Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Gary Boswick officiating. Interment will be held at Eastview Cemetery under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.
Perkins was born on Jan. 8, 1945 in Borger. She was the daughter of the late Oren McCllon Mead and the late Argie Lamb Mead. She had been a waitress at Truck Stop, LaCasa Mia and Townhouse. She was a member of Shields Baptist Church. She had been a resident of Vernon most of her life, having lived in Oklahoma City for the last eight years. She was a homemaker.
Surviving are three daughters, Dorothy Robb of Kansas City, Mo., Cindy Davis of Sweetwater, and Debbie Singletary of Oklahoma City, Okla.; two sisters, seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Sunday April 24, 2016 at Sullivan Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association or Wilbarger County Humane Society.
Pallbearers will be Jeffery Lee Sutterfield, Rodney Davis, Mickey Singletary, Derek Osborn, Jonathon Smith and Zack Singletary.
