Robert Owen Thomas Jr.

   Robert Owen Thomas, Jr., 30 of Vernon, died on Sunday, May 1, 2016, in Wamego, Kan. Services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, May 7, 2016 at Wood Street Baptist Church with Rev. Norris Lynn Thomas officiating. Interment will be held at Wilbarger Memorial Park under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.
   Thomas was born Thursday, Aug. 15, 1985 in Gainesville. He was the son of Robert Thomas, Sr.  and Terri  Lynn Jackson Hales. He worked in the construction business. He was a member of Wood Street Baptist Church.
   He is survived by his parents: father, Robert O. Thomas Sr. and stepmother Bridget Thomas of Vernon, mother, Terri Lynn Hales of Killeen and stepfather, Christopher Hales of North Carolina; three sons, Nicholas Biddy Thomas of Hutto, Keaton Thomas of Hutto and Kamerson Thomas of Vernon; five daughters, Tasha Thomas of Hutto, Kayla Correa of Laredo, Kara Correa of Laredo, Israel Nobles of Austin, and Sydnie Henderson of Hutto; three brothers, Tristan D. Thomas, Robert O. Thomas III of Vernon, and Gregory Weaver of Vernon; three sisters, Shatamia M. Leonard of Austin, Franchesea Thomas of Vernon and Kierra McGee of Vernon as well as a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
   Visitation will be Friday, May 6, from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Wood Street Baptist Church.
