Hazel Doris Henry

   Hazel Doris Henry, 89 of Vernon, died on Wednesday, May 11, 2016, in Vernon. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m., Saturday, May 14, 2016 at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Gib Baskerville officiating. Interment will be held at Wilbarger Memorial Park under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.
   Hazel was born Monday, Feb. 14, 1927 in Chillicothe. She was the daughter of the late R.V. Stewart and the late Gladys Juanita Brock Stewart. She married Robert l. Henry on Jan. 10, 1946 in Vernon. He preceded her in death July 5, 2007. She had been a resident of Vernon all of her life She was a retired bookkeeper. and a member of First Baptist Church.
   She is survived by her sons, Bill Henry of Dallas and Bobby Henry of Vernon; two daughters, daughters, Brenda Hildebrand of Vernon and Vickie Perkins of Vernon;  grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and a brother, Randall Stewart.
   Visitation will be Friday, May 13, 2016 at from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Sullivan Funeral Home.
   Memorials can be made to Boys & Girls Club of Vernon, Vernon College Robert L. and Hazel Henry Scholarship Fund.
