Virginia Saldana

   QUANAH – Virginia Saldana, 59, of Quanah, died on Tuesday, May 31, 2016, in Vernon. Graveside services are scheduled for 11 a.m.,  Friday, June 3, 2016 at Quanah Memorial Park with Hector Olvera officiating. Interment will be under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.
   Saldana was born July 15, 1956 to Francisco and Lydia Torres Coronado.  She had been of resident of Quanah since 1996, working for the Cap Factory in Crowell and Quanah. She was also a home health aide.
   She is survived by her daughter, Ruby Rivera of Vernon; two sons, Roland Rivera, Jr., of San Antonio, and Frank Rivera of Quanah; three sisters, Cynthia Rivera of Plainview,  Judy Silva of Austin and Janie Mecqoza of Austin; one brother,  Ramon Torres of Austin; 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Cindy Dering in 2010, and three sisters, Francis Coronado, Rose Mary Coronado and Alma Coronado
   Family Visitation will be Thursday, June 2, 2016, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., at Smith Funeral Home.
