Dee Waynene “Dee Dad” Waggoner

   Dee Wayne “Dee Dad” Waggoner, 80 of Vernon, died on Wednesday, June 22, 2016, in Vernon. Funeral services will be Friday, June 24, 2016 at 10 a.m., at the Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Toby Castleberry and Rev. Ron Fox officiating. Interment will be at Wilbarger Memorial Park under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.
   Dee Wayne was born on Thursday, March 12, 1936 in Vernon, He was the son of the late Dow Jordan Waggoner and the late Ida Kyle Ayeres Waggoner. He married Betty Hodges on June 28, 1957. He had lived in Vernon all of his life. He received his banking degree from S.M. U. He was Past President Installment Loan Division of Texas Bankers Association. He worked for Waggoner National Bank for 43 years. He was a member of the Palomino Club, Lions Club Past President and Boys & Girls Club Director. He is a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Deacon and Sunday School teacher.
   He is survived by his wife, Betty Waggonerof the home; one son. Chris Waggoner and wife, Connie of Vernon; one daughter, Dee Ann Clifton and husband, Brandt of Vernon; grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Kyle and Haley Waggoner, Parker, Porter, Palmer, Kelly and Doug Patterson, Praylee, Macelyn. Garrett Waggoner and Allison Rozzell, Zachary, Brynnlee.
   Whitney Waggoner, Brayden. He was preceded in death by nine brothers and sisters.
   Visitation will be Thursday, June 23, 2016 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., at Sullivan Funeral Home.
