Pamela Kay Garvin, 63 of Vernon, Texas died on Monday, Oct. 22, 2018, in Vernon, Texas.

Services will be Thursday, Oct. 25, 2018 at 10 a.m. at Sullivan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ron Fox officiating. Interment will be held at Wilbarger Memorial Park under th

e direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.

Pamela was born Wednesday, Nov. 24, 1954 in Vernon, Texas. She was the daughter of Wilma Smith Stowe and the late Guinn Rogers “Punk” Stowe. She married James “Jimmy” Garvin on May 21, 1976 in Vernon. He preceded her in death on July 25, 2017. She had been a resident of Vernon for most of her life.  She collected Coco Cola memorabilia; she was a lover of animal rescue, scary movies, board games and trying new restaurants. She was a retired librarian at Vernon Collage.  S

urvived by her daughter, Amber Garvin of Vernon, Texas, her mother Wilma Lois Stowe of Vernon, Texas, brother, Dr. Grady Stowe and wife Pauline of Vernon, Texas, sister, Deanna Cupp of Idaho, also several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Family visitation will be Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2018 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Sullivan Funeral Home.

Memorials can be made to Vernon Humane Society or Vernon Collage, Crowell High School Theater Dept.
