Lady Lions down Archer City

Vernon went on the road Tuesday night and the Lady Lions came home with a 65-54 win over Archer City.
The Lady Lions were hot early, outscoring the hosts 26-16 in the first quarter before taking a 32-25 lead into halftime.
Vernon poured it on on the third quarter with 22 points and led 54-42 after three quarters before casting home with the win.
Vernon put three players in double figures with Cameron Garza leading the way with 14 points, 5 steals and 10 rebounds, followed by 13 points from Olivia Stanfill, and 12 points and 7 rebounds from Reianna Dixon.
