   Deloras Kay Price, 74 of Vernon, Texas, died on Sunday, March 1, 2020, in Vernon, Texas.Services will be Thursday, March 5, 2020 at 2 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home. Offi ciating will be Rev. Steven Brummett.Deloras was born Tuesday, May 8, 1945 in Vernon, Texas. She was the daughter of the late Edgar N. Schoppa and the late Clara Lutz Schoppa. She married Michael Ross “Mike” Price on Nov. 9, 1963 at Zion Lutheran Church. He preceded her in death on Jan. 23, 2020. She was a graduate of Lockett High School in 1963. She retired from Vernon State Hospital Payroll Dept. She enjoyed quilting, she was a member of Zion Lutheran Church where she was baptized, confi rmed and married at the church that she loved so much. She loved music, especially Lutheran Hymns. She was a Sunday School Teacher, Cub Scout mother, devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.Deloras is survived by her son, William “Bill” Price and wife, Katrina of Vernon, Texas, three grandchildren, Dalton, Lyndsey and Kinsey, one great-grandchild, Liam, one sister, Ann Clark of Corpus Christi, Texas, two nieces, Michelle and Lisa and one nephew, Chris.She was preceded in death by her brother, Edgar Christian Schoppa on April 21, 2018.Memorials can be made to Zion Lutheran Cemetery or the Zion Lutheran Church.
