Sue (Bridges) White
Sue (Bridges) White passed away on May 10, 2020.
Proud to be a Native Texan, she was born Feb. 29,
1932 in Vernon, Texas, to Osa and Jewel Bridges.
After graduating from Vernon High School in 1949,
she attended North Texas State University (now the
University of North Texas). Sue was married to her
loving husband, Dan White, for 67 years
She was the backbone of her family showing her
strength and resilience through her kidney transplant 19
years ago as well as her fi ght with bladder cancer, and
its related complications, 6 years ago. She was always
looking forward to the bright days ahead. Her love of
travel brought her to all 50 states. Annually, a family
vacation was taken to celebrate the anniversary of her
kidney transplant. Sue is survived by her husband, daughter Stacy White, sister Jo
McCrary, niece Marilyn Jackson, nephew Mark McCrary, great-niece Betsy McBee as
well as numerous cousins and good friends.
The family would like to thank Dr. David Nesser and the staff at the Dallas
Transplant Institute for their care and concern during these past 20 years.
A graveside service will be held at Restland Cemetery on Wednesday May 20, 2020
at 1 p.m.
